164 auto locks w/o alarm?

My 91 164S has a flakey alarm system.  I don't think I'll try to
fix it as I don't think there is much chance that it will be
stolen (expect by fellow digesters than now know my alarm is
not working :-).

Is there a way to have the automatic locks work with the alarm
key turned off?
