Searching for lost family members (2 alfas)

Hello all,

This is kind of a strange request but here goes:

ALFA #1: Back in 67' my father worked at Alfredos in Larchmont NY and bought his
dream, a Guilia Super.  I can remember many trips including a drive to
Florida in this car as well as being allowed to steer it into our garage
at about age 5 on my fathers lap.  Hence my alfa love.  Somewhere in 75'
or 76' he had to sell it to get a station wagon (67 Olds Vista
Cruiser).  I am just curious if any of you out there happen to have
purchased it or know of its demise.  It was dark blue, with silver
stripes painted on the body crease from nose to tail. Also had Talbot
mirrors mounted on the front fender. I believe that it
was in excellent physical shape but had some rust.  At the time we lived
in Cresskill NJ (northern Bergen county) and was sold to someone locally.  Thats all I know.

ALFA #2: Some years later (I think 86' or 85') my father (at my prompting) bought
a 74' GTV which had been in the neighborhood for years.  It had recently
been repainted Gun Metal grey from its original red.  The car was in
excellent running condition.  This is the point at which I really fell
in love with these cars as I was able to legally drive now (hell, I
owned a 79 fiat X1/9) and my father ALLOWED me to take his baby out for
small jaunts without his watchfull eyes.   My father got cancer about a
year after this purchase and was eventually forced to sell it as he was
too weak to really drive the car.  I was unable to buy it from him
because I was at college and needed a "reliable" car.  At that time we
lived in Demarest, NJ (also northern Bergen county)

This car was sold to someone I believe in Northwestern NJ or NY state.
He had two very young children too.

I am just curious as to their demise.

I guess I am in a sentimental mood and thinking of my late father so, if
anyone out there owns/owned or knows of their history please email me.
