Okay, ask a stupid question and get six very intelligent answers.
My excuse, but I'm not sticking to it, is all the type on the cover is
in all caps, save the Alfetta script.
I will admit that below the Alfa badge it is printed thusly:
2000
BERLINA
GT
This should have tipped me offbut didn't.
Thank you John Hertzman, James Montebello, Dana Loomis, Wayne Abbott,
Brian Shorey, and 'chap from Italy whose name I should remember but who
seldom signs his emails'.

'75 Alfetta GT (as opposed to a '75 Alfetta berlina / saloon / 4-dr.)
Just to muddy the waters, how many of you folks out there, except one's
with rr's (rug-rats), who actually use the back seat of their berlinas
(any 4-dr.) for people? I have to believe that on modern cars (power
everything), manufacturers could save maybe (?) 3 - 5% by eliminating
the rear doors and filling the holes in with chunks of sheet metal and
motorized glass. Maybe not.
