Fwd: speedometer error

This particular GPS has a 3D mode where it calculates elevation. The spec's
say the velocity accuracy is 0.1 knot. I have also checked several newer
(1998-2000) vehicles and it has agreed to within my ability to interpolate
the analog gauge.

As hard as it is to believe (LOL) I think the error is of more mechanical
then electronic in nature.
