Fwd: 164LS steppers?

Karl, and other 1994/1995 owners:

I was not aware that the 24V cars had known problems with the steppers. I thought the entire system was different (and "improved", except for the LEDs). I've kept my Climate Control on "Auto" for 7 years. Should I stop doing that to avoid expensive repairs like the earlier 12V cars?
