RE: [Silly] Question
greg--no need for a dipstick on an alfa. one just looks under the car and if
oil has/is leaked on the ground, then you've got oil....if no oil on ground,
add 2 qts. simple.

Subject: [Silly] Question
I have quite a silly and rather embarassing question...
I'm (hopefully) going to pick up over the weekend the 74 spider I looked
at earlier.
I remember looking in the engine compartment (admittedly not as thoroughly
as I should have) and noting the condition of most things, however, I
didn't quickly spot the dipstick to check the oil.
Where is that normally located on a 74 spider 2000?
It was probably in plain site and I was just too preoccupied with the
possibilities of taking her home. That's the first time I haven't been
able to find the dipstick on a car quickly or easily.
