Since buying the new race car, the tube chassis I have been working on for 2
years has to go. I`m finishing this season with the Alfa GT-2 car and will be
preping the new car for 2003. For $1000.00 you get the following, but it has
to be got from here QUICK!
Tube frame chassis built by Rabbit Davis. Chassis is 1.625 DOM .095 with
Roll hoop 1.625 with .120 wall. Origionally to be bodied with late Pontiac
Sunfire body. Shortened to 96 inch wheelbase, and Adapted to Alfa DeDion rear
suspension which is located via heim joints & rod ends. with Gearbox with
clutch, brake shifter (alfetta) with fabricated shift assembly in car (out of
parts car). Front is long arm lower with forward arm with rod ends. Uppers
are AFCO A arms. # sets (two steel, one alum) spindles are ford with new
hubs, 4 on 4.25 bolt circle. (Also have DeDion hub centers modified to same
bolt circle) Spindles have brake mounting plate for Wildwood Dynalite
Brakes.
Has 2.5 liter Alfa V6 hard mounted(motor not complete) in chassis. From
bottom of chassis to highest point is 41 inches. Would be easy to convert to
stright rear axle if for different application. With Eng. & transaxle/DeDion
installed I can pick up Front & rear, (not at same time, I`m old) as
assembled it all weighs about 880-900 lbs.
Bolt on wheels & it will roll. Not included.
Also have Tilton pedal assembly, 3 MC`s in box, Brakes, Front & rear tube
sway bars and alum arms, and Carrera Coil overs for rear, but they will be
extra $ . These have been fitted however to chassis.
