Cam followers

I doubt it's the cam that is significant. The followers are steel and they 
ride in cylinders cast and then machined into the aluminum head. Over time, 
the followers will wear slightly differently I should think, or perhaps the 
factory hones each follower cylinder to match the follower that goes in it. 
Either way, one would be wiser to keep the followers in the same holes.
