Hi Rich ,

I agree with Karl . I've been aware that it's very important to have smog
checks done with a hot engine( and maybe Cat as well) . I failed a test
because the thermostat in my Spider was stuck open and not allowing the
car to reach full operating temp. This might also apply to your having a
leak in the radiator, and not getting hot enough.
