Re: Avoiding German Automobiles

I'm not quite sure how this is relevant to an Alfa Romeo digest, but I feel compelled to (briefly) respond)

If, as you imply, you're looking for a karma-free auto producing country, they simply don't exist. I could go on about our (US's) slave past, or perhaps Japan's Nanking...or...

So we can all agree that these events have little bearing on what we drive now, and avoid ridiculous debates like these, right?

Subject: avoiding German automobiles

hey, it's not just retired grandparents in Florida,
i wasn't even born yet when WW2 was going on, but
the idea of buying an automobile from a company, &
to a lesser extent some of the same people, who
greatly profitted from slave labor & murder, in the
goal of murder & enslavement of the rest of the world,
will forever keep me from owning a mb, bmw, porsh or (ford).
