re: fwd and rwd again



CM Smith wants to use objective data to support his preference.  He writes:

I wonder if Mr. Smith has "done the math."  If he has, perhaps he did it in
two dimensions, rather than three.  The above description is meaningless
because it neglects the attitude of the car in the vertical plane, which is
affected by weight transfer.  It's this third dimension that puts fwd cars
at a disadvantage in cornering.
