You must have never driven a Fulvia. It's one of the best handling Italian cars of the sixties, FWD or RWD. RWD has no monoply on handling, just a longer term of develpment, and a lot of attention thrown at it over the years. I feel no bias towards either, nor to front engine vs. rear or mid arrangements, just towards cars that are fun and well-balanced. Try a good example of a Fulvia sometime, you'll be surprised.
