Sorry - didn't mean to misinform anyone.  New Alfas still ship with 
4-valves/cylinder, though.  I wonder if they'll rework the GM V6 heads for 
the 2004- V6 Alfas that are destined to replace the "ailing" Alfa V6 with 
more valves, or put twin spark plugs ala the Alfa 4's or some Merc V6 and 
V8 models.
