Oops again
Valve timing changes can of course cause problems with interference engines
if the point of maximum lift is changed by enough. Changing the cam profile
is less likely to cause a problem if maximum lift is not changed, but it
still can. Valves remain open at TDC on all strokes but the compression
stroke, but valve lift obviously cannot be at a maximum there, or the
engine would not be classed as an interference engine. Back to the drawing
board for me.
