Last week I was havin' problems w/ the headlights on the '83 GTV6 Ball Peen Special.
Turns out I was havin' a serious relay problem. Your symptoms make we wonder if 1) One
of the wires (the one for the low beam filament) has come loose or 2) You have a burned
out low beam filament or 3) there is a wire loose/broken somewhere between the headlamp
and the juice.
I suggest you remove the offending lamp. By doing so you can check the wiring. If you
find all the wiring is secure check the lamp filament. If you can't tell if it's good
or bad, switch it out with the working headlamp and test it. If the lamp works in the
other side start checkin' all the wiring to that lamp.
