whoa is me!
Hey Y'all,
I stumbled across an abandoned Milano with 160,000 miles on it pushed back
into the weeds at a shop near my home. The shop owner expects the DMV
paperwork back shortly and wants to sell the whole car cheap. I've agreed
to buy it. It was driven in for brakes and some other work. The shop did
some work but I don't yet know what work has been done. I could tell it
wouldn't pass state inspection due to that all the lamps have a crack or
hole in the lens. I guess the $$ of the parts and or work scared the guy
off.
I believe it has been broken into, probably while in the weeds. The
interior is very rough. The cloth is missing from the headliner, door
panels have had stereo equipment hastily removed. Drivers window is
missing, seat surfaces are serviceable but the rear seat back was forcibly
removed. The drivers seat has a gear motor hanging out by the wires. The
body has a ripple in the rear passenger quarter panel. There are Zender
side skirts and rear deck spoiler. Under the hood the engine is missing one
of the caps for the timing belt cover and the front of the motor has a lot
of oil on it.
I also need some storage space in the RTP, NC area.
Is this a fixxer upper or a parts source?
What should I do?
Please cc to me directly if you can.
thanks,
Wayne Abbott
