When I switched to sprangs on the wife's 164 I used a medium weight nylon cord tied to
the dogleg of the sprang and through the desired hole. With heavy leather gloves I
pulled on the cord while a neighborhood "gorilla" pulled on the sprang.
If you're puttin' sprangs on an "S" model be sure you have the "S" sprangs. They're
stronger than the "L" and "Base" ones.
NOTE: I'm no mechanic; ask Russ Neely...
