Hi Joe,

Random thoughts are not the only things that will pop. Your piston will
also pop. May I ask why you even want to run it at 15 degrees advance?
I think 7 degrees static advance is all I dare run. I think your GTV6
shouldn't have problems running a 3.0 timing,. When I had my 2,5, it
ran with 7 degrees static advance. No problemo.

negative consequences of driving around for a long time with the 
ignition timing on your Alfa V6 advanced to ~15 degrees BTDC ?
