Spider Oil Pan

Maybe some one can help me - I am working on a 86 spider and needed to 
remove the upper oil pan. Looks like there is bolt located under the oil 
filter, but there seems to be no way of getting at it( you can see it from 
inside the oil pan). There is no mention of it in any of the manuals.
