Andres, the hood release cable on my Duetto broke many years ago while the
hood was closed, leaving me in the same situation. I believe that your latch
is the same as mine, with a rotating spike at the rear center of the hood.

If you assemble all of the socket wrench extensions you have, plus probably
all that your helpful neighbor has, and add a 10mm (I think) socket and
universal to them, you can reach the latch from below the car. You'll
probably want to duct tape the extensions together to keep from eating one
or more of them when they fall off. The socket will engage the nut that
attaches the actuating lever to the spike.

Getting to it will take a long time and will require you to put the car up
on stands. Turning the latch takes two seconds once you reach it.
