spider emissions ok? UPdate

Well, either I'm crazy or they are. I took the spider
to get the emissions test yesterday, expecting it to
fail.

It passed, and I had them
test the O2 sensor & it passed w/flying colors. 

However, the engine dosen't seem to be 100%.
How would you like to drive my car and tell me what you think? ;)
The car seems to use gas very quickly, and doesn't seem to have
full power. It also sounds a little funny, like the timing is
a bit off. I guess I'll check timing this weekend. Can the
VVT fail? if so, what are the symptoms? Think an Italian tuneup
is in order!?!

Well, it's great to be back on the road, parts to replace the
front wheel bearings and caster bushings are on the way, can't wait!!
