91 Spider Steering box clunking noise is fixed... For now

My 91 Spider also has a crack in this same place and is quite wide. I plan
on welding it myself when I put on the new shocks. When mine cracked I call
Alfa and asked it they would do anything about it and was told NO.

Has anyone else had this problem? If not you may want to check it out, if
