GTV6 rear calliper rebuild
Recently two GTV6 weaknesses that I had began to doubt have happened to me.
Firstly, my plenum blew off and secondly I cooked the rear calliper seals
while racing. The piston seal came out hard, brittle and cracked. So its
time for a vented rear rotor kit and a calliper rebuild. I have split the
rear calliprs and will get to the actual rebuild soon, but I am unsure about
what look like welsh plugs on the opposite side to the handbrake lever. Do
these need to be removed and replaced? There are no welsh plugs in the
rebuild kit. If I need to replace them, are they a standard plug that I can
get from a parts shop? The rebuild procedure on the GTV6 homepage does not
mention these, but the array of seals that come with the kit looks like
there are more seals than places to put them without further disassambly.
Thanks
