RE: Ferris Bueller. No Alfa Content

I remember reading about this a few years ago. The company that built
the replica advertised that their car was the one used for the movie.

As I recall, it was as a very nice car (notwithstanding the fact that it
looked like something it wasn't, which I have always thought was a bad
idea). Tube frame chassis, reliable components (well, relatively
speaking), good handling.  Just wasn't a Ferrari.

I think replicas in general are a bad idea, and this car is an example
why. Put a unique body on the car and I would have wanted one badly.
Probably still couldn't afford it, though :-|

Well, it may have been a pseudo-replica in some scenes (where it is
destroyed, for sure), but not in all. Much of the movie could be shot in
CA despite taking place in IL, which means that two cars would come in
handy.
