I just measured my 82 and 91 spiders. The 82 radiator is
approximately 18 inches wide. The 91 crossflow radiator is 22 or 23 inches
wide. The crossflow sits lower and further forward.
You will have to do quite a bit of cutting on the 82 to make it fit.
Plus the snorkel on the 82 air cleaner would have to be relocated. There are
a bunch of detail differences. I suggest you find someone with a 91 or newer
spider and park the two cars together for measurement. If is a long way from
a direct bolt in.
You might also try to find a 90 model transition spider. The 90 has
the Motronic engine in the earlier rubber ducky body. Of course, there are
several differences between your car and a mid 1980's rubber ducky. However,
I know that both the 82 and the 84 radiators, air cleaners, etc., are exactly
the same and interchangeable. Been there done that.

But why bother? I find the 82 cools just fine, if the system is if
good shape. If you want an electric fan, fit one from the aftermarket or a
junk yard.
