Why location?

I forgot one very important reason for me to want to know where you live, 
where you're at if you need help.  Maybe I'm nuts, a spendthrift ( I've been
called 'Diamond Jim' at times) but on several occasions when I got calls for
help, I was not too far away so I'd go help, when too far away I could often
tell where help could be found locally.   Ciao y'all, Fred
