RE: Differential fill plug thread stripped?

My mechanic found the same condition on my '91 Spider when I first took it
to him several years ago.  He replaced the original fill plug with a tapered
thread plug and it has held leak-free since then.  I think he used an
American pipe thread piece he had in stock but I can't give you the size or
source I'm afraid.  Good luck!
