insurance value of factory tools

So I awoke this morning to discover my
tools had been stolen out of my car. 
Largely an annoyance insofar as the
"regular" mechanics tools go, but
included in the box was my meager,
though precious collection, of factory
tools collected over the last few
years.  Can anyone suggest a basis for
determining the value of factory tools
for insurance purposes?

In other matters I saw the three
twinsparks on ebay have been dropped to
$1000, that's getting into small-block
chevy prices!
