Chip--
I bought the very wheels from the IMSA Milanos from Al Leake in 1994. They
were 15X7 O.Z. Monza 3-piece modular wheels. Al was the team founder, owner,
and manager as he described it. At that time he provided me with what was
essentially a media kit for the race effort that contained many good photos
and several magazine articles from the period. I will try to dig up the kit
and post a copy of it or arrange to provide a copy to you. As shown in the
race photos in the kit, the cars were red and essentially stock appearing
3.0s, and slightly lowered. The hardest part of the appearance to replicate
will be the wheels, which are unique in appearance and can also be seen in
another size on the ES30 / SZ. Speedline produced a very similar wheel, but I
have not seen a set new since 1995 and they were quite expensive at $700 per
wheel. Used O.Z. Monzas are fairly expensive themselves, between $350 / $500
apiece, due to their relative rarity.

While speaking to an official at O.Z. in Italy in 1994 when trying to source
Monza center caps, I was informed the only 2500 wheels were made in this
style and size, making 625 new sets in 1988 / 1989. I installed a set on my
3.0 Milano, and they were not only the best looking wheels for the car IMHO,
but also the lightest I came across during those years.
Cheers,
Paul
