24V/LS owners - manifold problems

As many owners of the 24V model of the 164 (LS and/or Super) have discovered 
one of its major Achilles' Heels (and it does have quite a few!) is the front 
exhaust manifold which hangs down very low and is a prime target for 
potholes, raised manhole and water main covers, rocks, bodies and other large 
objects lying in the street, all waiting to do malicious damage to your car. 
These manifolds warp very easily when the lower exhaust pipe hits one of the 
afore-mentioned objects as many have already found out, and new ones are 
impossible to locate. Good used ones are even harder to find. Consequently 
has anyone located an aftermarket source of supply for these headers or know 
of a European wrecking yard which might have them ?
