Names and so

Thank you very much everyone for the overwhelming amount of info and replies
to my posting on the meaning of model names. The quality of the postings on
this list is most impressive!

Also, my humble apologies to the marque on the blatant misspelling of
Giulia/Giulietta. I've been driving one (the latter) for nearly 7 years and
would never have noticed. Such is human perversity.

Now, the only outstanding issues for me are:
? GTA - Gran Turismo Ah-don't-know-what-this-last-lettah-is-fah, and
? I believe the 116 Giulietta (did you notice the correct spelling there)
series in South Africa had a 1.8, a 2.0, a Ti (correct caps) and an
Executive (and combinations of some of these). I think the Ti was fuel
injected, all the others are not. The 'Executive' designation seems slightly
uncharacteristic of the marque, yes, no? At least, that's the impression i
get from the discussion so far.

I believe the US-ers might not be very familiar with this car since it was
never produced over there. You should see it - beautiful lines, wedged shape
and a strong competitor to the GTV in terms of looks, imho.
