Milano: hoses from oil vapor separator

Hi,

There are 3 hoses connected to the oil vapor separator
on my 87 Milano Silver.  One hose goes to the camshaft 
cover, the second hose (~3/4-inch O.D.) goes to the
main air duct, and the third one (1/2-inch O.D) just
hangs loosely and isn't connected to anything.  Is this
normal?  If not, where should this hose be connected to?
