That Milano...

Dear Unindicted Co-Conspirators -

Someone sent me a short message making fun because I
accidentally identified the Milano Silver that's for
sale as a '67 instead of an '87. What I must admit at
this point is that I cannot type by touch, but have to
read the keys (as the good lord obviously intended, or
else He would not have put letters and numbers on
them), and if I'm not wearing my reading glasses I
have a hard time distinguishing the 6 from the 8. So
now you know, and we will pause while all the snotnose
kids have a good laugh...

Anyway, the **NINETEEN EIGHTY-SEVEN** Milano Silver is
at Alfa Only, just off Glendale Blvd. as you leave the
south end of the city of Glendale and enter Atwater
Village. Their number is 323-662-3916, and Bill (the
shop owner) is apparently handling the deal. It is
dark blue w/brownish cloth interior, very clean and
nice, and has about 143K on the clock. Bigass speakers
on the deck, but the radio has been pulled. It needs a
steering rack, which I believe is being fitted. Good
newish tires, the original steel wheels with one of
the fake-alloy covers missing, and yeah, the headliner
is sagging at the front (staple gun time!). Bill says
about $28-$2900 ought to get it. I did not drive it,
having no wish to fall in love with something I can't
have.
