re: leather conditioner

Robert asks:
What is the best leather conditioner on the market?

I have used leatherique on two cars. Very popular with the British
crowd. I could have filmed a commercial with my case (E-type)....The
seats were scuffed, discolored and nearly cracked. The leather was very
dry. I bought four bottles and a sponge, the whole lot well under a
hundred bucks. First, you use the conditioner, then the cleaner (no, it
is not a typo), then the prep agent, and then the custom-made dye ((
sent them a sample from the bottom of the seat).
The one major competitor is color+, if I recall....

-98 Audi A6 Q (to supercharge or not to supercharge, that is the
question)
-90 911 C4 (has become wife's college commuting car)
-itching for a fourth...but waiting for the little old lady from
Pasadena to hold a fire sale
