Re: Picking an ancient, and persistent, nit
John,
That's great! Now I'll have to go check the BMW catalogs for spelling
or determine if I'm permanently dislexic (darn, that spelling doesn't look right
either!) Please don't tell PapaFred. I'm already in trouble for my flywheel
installation problems.
Cheers,
Charlie
PS I've decided from now on I'm only going to use rubber donuts on my cars.
PPS Oh darn! Does that mispelling mean I'm on the Official Factory
You-Know-What List? But it wasn't listed as one of the rules.

raptures of our enthusiasm) a seriously credentialed lurker sicked PapaFred on
me with a correction and admonition. To that S.C.L. 'guibo' ranks with
Guilietta, Romero, and Alpha. The joints were manufactured by the company Giubo
SpA, founded by the engineer Boschi to make and market his patented giunti
(Italian for 'joints'), thus GIUnti BOschi or giubo. 'Guibo' will live on, but
it will never win points in the grand concours of alfadom. If one can remember
'Giulietta', 'giubo' shouldn't be much harder.
