Draining coolant on 164

Now that I've tackled the manual tranny fluid change, I want to flush the cooling system on my 24V 164 this weekend.

There is a 19mm drain plug on the front block (there's also another plug on on the rear side that's difficult to access w/o removing the intake plenum).  No drain plug at the bottom of the radiator. Hmm...

The hoses look OK but as far as I know they're originals.  

Does anyone have any tips and/or advice?  Thanks in advance.
