164 oil

owner of my 164L, containing Selenia 10W40 formula Alfa Romeo. The car was
always fed this oil. I was under the impression that 20W50 was to be used.
Am I correct, or should I use the 10W40?"

The owners manual for my 93 164L specifies 10w40 fully synthetic.
