Spider Transmission Shudder

Subject: Spider Transmission Shudder

On my '88 Spider Graduate, I can feel a shuddering from what seems to me to
be underneath the passenger seat each time I take off from a dead stop. Is
there some transmission mount associated with this? Other diagnoses? Any
help would be gratly appreciated.
