Karl,

You need lubrication, a refrigerator, and a blowtorch to install the new
seals.  Keep the seals in the freezer until they're cold and shrunken
slightly.  Warm (don't melt) the cleaned out shafts where the seals sit.
You should still be able to touch the block with your hands after its
heated.  Spray the area with some WD-40, and slide the chilled cigarette
seals into place.  Worked for me.
