Funnily enough, there was a feature about it in yesterdays (Sunday)
newspaper.

They claim it is an enhancement over the one used in the BMW - apparently,
the same unit.  THe only complaint was that it can be a bit jerky, when in
auto (Alfa call it "City") mode.
