Charging System

Dear Digest,

I think I slept through 1 or 2 autoshop classes back in High School and I
kind of missed out on how to use a volt/ohm meter to see if a charging
system is functioning to spec.

Can someone help by telling me where to connect the wires, what readings to
expect and anything else I should look 
for on a '67 GTV? Visually everything looks good, but I just ran down a
battery.
