I don't think there is a Lambda sensor on a non cat
75.

However, check fuel preasure and the operation of the
throttle position switch as the variable valve timing only
comes out to play when you have the throttle beyond a 
certain angle (30 degrees?). Also check that you are getting
sparks on all 8 plugs, and not just 4.
