Clean Car Underneath

In addition to what Wille mentioned about the two White Swiss Duettos. They
where indeed immaculate. And they were used. Not only to drive from
switzerland to the netherlands. The white duettos where restored about
seven years ago, i believe.
But they still looked like showroom new. 

Does anybody know if the factory actually painted the bottom in the same
color. All cars in the netherlands have got black coating, but i dont know
if this rust proofing is applied afterwards?
