Gene, I dare say you are a bit of a fool. What happens when you are in an
accident? It will have to be damned strong velcro to stop that extinguisher
smacking you in the head! Fair enough you are not competing (considering
they would politely laugh you out of scrutineering to start with), but its
not just racing cars which need a securely mounted extinguisher! For a
start, you are far more liekly to be hit by some moron in an SUV, than by
another competitor on the track...there was an Alfa Owners Club competitor
here in Sydney who broke his leg when his car rolled, why? Because his
extinguisher wasnt mounted properly and broke free and smashed his leg!
Otherwise, he would have escape unharmed fom the rollover (and it was a
fairly gentle one so the car survived too)

I honestly hope you have something MORE than velcro attaching your
extinguisher in your car....please look towards a metal bracket with clip to
mount it on!
