Project Giulietta-"Crimes Against Alfa"

Hi Folks!!

Just wanted to say thanks for the outpouring of sympathy over my 
latest installment of "Project Giulietta" wherein I describe how the 
machine shop butchered all the NOS parts I had managed to scrape 
together for the '56 Spider. After a successful search for 
replacement parts (except the early series 750 cylinder head-I'm 
still looking for a good one) the motore rebuild is once again back 
in gear-to be detailed in future installments.

Many people have inquired as to who did the savage butchery-please 
reply to me off Digest for the names of the guilty and I'll be glad 
to oblige. Hopefully the word will get around in the Alfa community 
about the clown who did the destruction and he will move on to 
working on some other Marque, or go out of business, or get run over 
by a 6,000 lb. underweight domestic Sport Utility vehicle (take your 
pick)...
