thingies, subject titles, (re: alfa-digest V6 #17)

hi fred,

i agree that "thingie" usually isn't the best way to describe a part on a car.
however, i strive to include in a response to someone's question, the exact
reference to the topic asked, in the "subject" heading of my post.  if you czech
out a/d v6 #16, you'll find a post w/the subject:  "GTV-6 air filter housing
thingies".  i feel it is easier for all who mite be interested in a topic thread
to include the original topic in the "subject".  of course, not everyone agrees
about this - some of us feel it's better to include only the reference as to
which a/d the topic was discussed!  :>)
