plating and brake relining

Johnson Plating at 26th(?) and Telegraph in Oakland is very good, but
expensive. Incidentally, there's a clutch and brake specialty shop
called Friction Materials on the same street.  They'll reline brake
shoes and clutches in almost any material you want.  I had Giulietta
shoes done several years ago, and the cost of relining a clutch disc is
less tahn half of buying a new one.
