Some of you may be interested in the following information I recently
received from the folks staging the Concours Italiano in California next
August.  I'm planning on going, hope to see some of you there...

CONCOURS FACT SHEET

Event Information:      The 12th Annual Concours Italiano will be held on
Friday, August 14, 1998, at the Quail Lodge Resort  in Carmel.  It will
feature the automobiles of ALFA ROMEO, with a "Sport & Design" theme
including a comprehensive display of historic, classic, and racing Alfa
Romeos.  The immense popularity of this legendary automobile is sure to
attract well over 150 superb examples, including such famous designers as
Zagato, Pininfarina, Bertone, and Touring.

Applications:  Exhibitor, spectator, vendor, and corral information will
be
sent out in February. If you have not given us your mailing address,
please
do so.

Admission:  Spectator tickets are $40 each and can be purchased in
advance
to avoid long lines.  Advance tickets include close-in reserved parking
and
an event program.  Tickets are also available on the day of the event,
